This article aims to describe the economic situation in covid 19 pandemic era and analyze function of zakat restoring society economy during Covid-19 pandemic. The method used this research was a literature study. data collection techniques were carried out two ways comprised primary secondary data. analysis content analysis. results showed that served as manifestation human solidarity, which means rich are required spend some their wealth form zakat, distribute it needy, context how see way help recovery So can be concluded with distribution such Zakat Fitrah, Maal professional Zakat, strengthen solidarity foster relationship between by helping needs people affected reduce poverty currently affects all world, especially Indonesia.
